The Student Life Accessibility Specialist & Testing Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the Office of Accessibility Resources (OAR) testing rooms and specific accommodation needs for students with disabilities at Carleton College. This position will focus on accommodation requests related to student life, including residential, dining, and parking accommodations.

This position in our ITS department is in the team that supports our enterprise applications. This position will have the opportunity to work with our team to learn and implement applications such as Workday, Workday Prism, Workday integration tools, Workday Extend, and the snapLogic iPaaS tool. In some of these application areas, this position will be a leader, while in other areas, this position will be a team member. This technologist will help form and drive our strategy with these tools. Additionally, this position will interact with our identity and access management (IAM) teammates, who are currently upgrading to new technologies such as Grouper.

Indigenous Communities Liaison
In the 2020-2021 school year, Carleton rolled out a new land acknowledgement statement reckoning with its relationship to the dispossession of Dakota people. In it, the College committed to “acts of healing and honest storytelling,” promises that require both external and internal initiatives. The Indigenous Communities Liaison, housed in the Center for Community and Civic Engagement (CCCE), will strengthen the College’s ability to enact its land acknowledgement commitments, partner with tribal governments and Native organizations, and promote the well-being of Native members of the campus community. Such efforts will include, among others, building better relations with Native nations and improving how Carleton engages Native people and Native-related issues for inclusion, diversity, and equity and its current antiracism initiatives. Maintenance Supervisor
The Maintenance Supervisor supports the Maintenance Manager in overseeing all maintenance activities for all trades as assigned for campus building and assets.
STEM Program Manager
The STEM Program Manager’s key charge is to build community and foster collaboration across STEM fields and between STEM and other disciplines and communities. The STEM Program Manager is a professional who fosters cross-disciplinary research and teaching collaborations and professional development collaborations (for students, staff, and faculty). The STEM Program Manager also oversees the building operations of the Science Complex.
Assistant to the Director of the Language Center
The Assistant to the Director of the Language Center is a part-time (20 hours/week during the academic year) position which provides office management assistance. Assists with room scheduling in the Language Center, compiles information for use in Director’s reports, supervises student workers, manages the workspace, helps with Language Center-related events, and carries out several IT-related responsibilities.

Custodians perform a variety of cleaning and disinfecting within their assigned buildings/areas to maintain a clean, safe work environment for the campus community.
Area Director
The Area Director is a live-in staff member who works with the staff and students to develop a comfortable living and learning environment and assists individuals with their personal development. As a member of the Residential Life Staff within the Division of Student Life, the Area Director will serve in many capacities including the roles of a community builder, educator, adviser, supervisor, and administrator. In these roles the Area Director helps to shape the quality of the residential experience for the students.
