Position Overview
The Assistant Director of the Gender and Sexuality Center (GSC) reports to and works collaboratively with the Director to support the mission, vision, and guiding principles of the GSC. The Assistant Director will work with the Director to implement comprehensive student life programming relating to gender and sexuality, specifically centering LGBTQIA+ identities and issues affecting those communities. The Assistant Director of the GSC serves as a direct resource to students, staff, and faculty. The Assistant Director manages the GSC office space, GSC-affiliated residential programming, and the GSC Programming Board.
Some evenings and weekend work is required. 

To be considered, you must meet one of the following education and work experience:

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of directly related prior or current experience working with issues related to gender and sexuality identity development, LGBTQIA+ student support, and institutional climate for LGBTQIA+ students

OR

Master’s degree and a minimum of 1 year of directly related prior or current experience working with issues related to gender and sexuality identity development, LGBTQIA+ student support, and institutional climate for LGBTQIA+ students
