Position Overview:The purpose of the Temporary Human Resources Assistant is to support recruitment activities and general Human Resources functions during the implementation of a new Enterprise Management System. This is a temporary, full-time, benefit eligible position. It is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in learning about Human Resources in higher education as responsibilities provide exposure to multiple functional areas within Human Resources.Upon successful completion of the assignment, the incumbent will be considered an internal candidate if they chose to apply for open positions at Carleton.
Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities:Support the recruitment/staffing and employment related duties as assigned. To include but not limited to:
Work collaboratively with the Employment Coordinator to complete with tasks from various HR functions:
Act as backup to Human Resources Coordinator and Benefits Coordinator, with general front desk reception as needed. Additional Job Responsibilities:
