The Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Carleton College invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor position (sabbatical replacement) in sociology starting September 1, 2022. We are particularly interested in candidates committed to teaching a diverse student body.

Applicants should have a completed PhD at the start of the position. The ideal candidate will be prepared to teach five courses over three trimesters, including two sections of introduction to sociology and three elective courses based on candidate expertise and the interests of the department.
