Position
Director of the Language Center
The Carleton College Language Center is a community of learners and teachers in a technology-rich space for languages at the College. The Director is charged with fostering and enriching this learning community of students and faculty, and providing administrative oversight and management of the Language Center to ensure its vibrant and effective functioning with exceptional service to those who use it. The Director develops and extends the College's capabilities for teaching and learning with digital media and educational technologies to enhance language learning and teaching and encourages innovative use of learning and teaching technologies.
Administrative and Events Assistant
The Administrative and Events Assistant is part of the Science Education Resource Center (SERC) office administrative team and provides administrative support to the staff and the National Association of Geoscience Teachers (NAGT) Executive office.
Area Director
The Area Director is a live-in staff member who works with the staff and students to develop a comfortable living and learning environment and assists individuals with their personal development. As a member of the Residential Life Staff within the Division of Student Life, the Area Director will serve in many capacities including the roles of a community builder, educator, adviser, supervisor, and administrator. In these roles the Area Director helps to shape the quality of the residential experience for the students.
Therapist for Student Health and Counseling
Carleton College Student Health and Counseling (SHAC) is recruiting a Therapist to provide counseling services to students, within a multidisciplinary medical and mental health clinic. In addition to addressing mental health challenges that bring students to therapy, this position helps students address issues of culture, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, and other aspects of identity within the context of psychotherapy with emerging adults.
Custodian (Multiple Openings)
Custodians perform a variety of cleaning and disinfecting within their assigned buildings/areas to maintain a clean, safe work environment for the campus community.
